Count ten of them piggies and that’s how far we have made it into the 21st century. It’s easy to get caught up on the latest and greatest of what is and what isn’t. We all do it. And it’s even easier to catch a snag or two on the negative notes of one’s daily toils. This past year was a rough year for a number of perspectives. Though without the rough, one would not be able to appreciate the smooth. And one would not also be able understand what has led them to some of their greatest moments, ideas and achievements. Perhaps if a stranger were to sit-in on our moments together, he/she would come to the conclusion that we were a handful of space cadets on a rocket ship built out of paper mache. And when we he/she would come to that conclusion, I would simply remind them that not many people can build a rocket that flies, especially one made of paper mache.
