Count ten of them piggies and that’s how far we have made it into the 21st century. It’s easy to get caught up on the latest and greatest of what is and what isn’t. We all do it. And it’s even easier to catch a snag or two on the negative notes of one’s daily toils. This past year was a rough year for a number of perspectives. Though without the rough, one would not be able to appreciate the smooth. And one would not also be able understand what has led them to some of their greatest moments, ideas and achievements.

The older one gets and the more one desires, the more one seems to lose. The more one acquires, the less space one has to keep the little knick.knacks and mementos from one’s own adventures. It begins to appear like your bedroom that slowly accumulates things, until one day you have no where to rest your head. A very intuitive man once spat, “It’s not about quantity, it’s about quality.” A very simple series of words and a very simple thought that puts together the sum of many things.

With that said, here at The Royal We the New Year is looking rather good. Armed with a fresh perspective and fervor to produce, We believe in ideas speaking for themselves, We believe that “Content is King” and that this year shouldn’t be any different. Even if no one was vibing on what We do…well…We would still be doing what We do on the daily.

Perhaps if a stranger were to sit-in on our moments together, he/she would come to the conclusion that we were a handful of space cadets on a rocket ship built out of paper mache. And when we he/she would come to that conclusion, I would simply remind them that not many people can build a rocket that flies, especially one made of paper mache.

It’s the awkward conversations that we navigate so comfortably or the slow ricochets of inside jokes that we puzzle each other with.

Each of us understand that although our character maybe flawed by some deformity, we can still be the cool space cadet paper mache rocket fliers that we are so good at being.
